Mission: To contribute to the improvement of care for sick children and to the prevention of diseases for children living in Suriname in particular and in the Caribbean region in general.
Strategy:
- Organize and facilitate projects in the field of pediatrics that are meant to improve the level of care for sick children. One should think of, educational projects for healthcare workers, organizing symposia, and acquisition of medical equipment.
- Organize and facilitate projects in the preventive healthcare field, whereby not only sick children but also healthy children and their caregivers are targeted. For example projects that aim to promote physical activity and good nutrition.
To finance these projects the foundation will gather funds from charity and development funds, companies, governments, and private individuals.
